Walker Lyons is a ‘West Coast kid’ from California who attended Folsom High School and began his athletic career there. His high school football days may have been cut short by a broken leg, but that didn’t stop Lyons from shining. In 2023, he was named the All-American Bowl’s Man of the Year. By 2024, Lyons had committed to USC, which he called “always one of [his] favorite schools.” Since then, he’s been the third tight end on the team’s depth chart.
But how did he meet Rylee Arnold? Well, Arnold keeps her social media as real as ever, and in one such candid moment, she revealed that her first date with Lyons was in October 2024. It involved grabbing a ‘sweet treat’ and cruising around Santa Monica. They’d been chatting and texting before, and she was thrilled to finally meet him in person: “I had never met him before, but we had a lot of mutuals, which [were] interesting coincidences,” she said.
Their personalities click really well too. They’re both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Arnold has shared a few things she appreciates about him: “He’s so supportive of me and just so kind all the time. Stephen Nedoroscik Shares His First Impression of Arnold’s Boyfriend
Stephen Nedoroscik, Rylee’s DWTS dance partner, recently shared his first impression of Walker Lyons. Speaking to Access Hollywood, Nedoroscik recounted the slightly awkward but amusing moment he first met Rylee’s new boyfriend. “We were in a bit of a dance; he walked in, and I was like, oh shoot, this is weird, I’m dancing.” But Nedoroscik quickly added that Lyons “seemed like such a nice guy, definitely a sweet dude.” He even shared a funny little anecdote of how Lyons held the door for him, proving what a polite, well-mannered person the footballer is.
